Sanborn Head Participates in University Research Consortium
In October, Laurent Levy and Dan Carr participated in the Fall Focus Conference of the University Research Consortium For Field Focused Groundwater Contamination Research (University Consortium). The meeting was held in Denver, Colorado and convened some of the top researchers and sponsoring companies to discuss the present state of practice in groundwater modeling.
Sanborn Head became an industrial partner in the University Consortium in December 2009, and our financial support was provided to the University of Guelph Center for Groundwater and Subsurface Environment Research led by Dr. Beth L. Parker and Dr. John Cherry. The University of Guelph is one of the eight Universities presently contributing to Consortium Research. Sanborn Head has been working with Dr. Parker and her colleagues since 2005 in this important area.
