Why Did You Join Sanborn Head?
When I completed graduate school I entered the job market with about five years of experience working for three companies. I had earned my professional engineering license just before attending graduate school. I had worked for a small startup firm as well as a mature multi-disciplinary engineering firm. Considering my prior work experience, my criteria for selecting a company included being technically challenged by interesting work; or, working with a really great group of people whom I could trust and respect. Ten minutes into my interview, I knew Sanborn Head offered both. I joined the firm and never looked back.
What Do You Like Best About Working At Sanborn Head?
I never imagined that I would be so fortunate as to work for a company like Sanborn Head. Immediately after starting with the firm, I was working on projects that were aligned with both my interest and my technical background – from prior experience I know this does not always happen in consulting. I am also fortunate in that I have traveled extensively, but not excessively, for work. I especially enjoyed visiting and getting to know people through our working relationships in Brazil, China, England, India, and France. In a few words, the best part of working at Sanborn Head is a tie between the great people I work with and the opportunities that it affords me.

My favorite spare time activities include spending time with my kids outside (hiking, throwing a lacrosse ball, kicking a soccer ball, etc.) and practicing guitar. People may be surprised to know that I am a black belt in Jungki Hapkido.
