Dave has more than 15 years experience in environmental engineering and management. He has held engineering and management roles for firms involved in air quality engineering, and solid, hazardous, and medical waste operations. As a Regional Manager for the Permits, Compliance & Engineering division at a major solid waste collection and disposal company in the northeastern United States, he was responsible for managing construction, engineering, permitting and compliance matters within a three-state region. Dave's responsibilities have included engineering operations related to landfill gas collection systems and leachate controls. He was also the primary technical contact for a special waste review program to ensure that hazardous materials were not accepted at the company's solid waste landfills. In addition to experience in the solid waste field, Dave managed a Vermont-based air quality consulting firm where he performed source testing, indoor air quality evaluations, landfill gas sampling, and Title V air permitting. His consulting experience also includes subsurface investigations and remedial engineering at petroleum and other hazardous waste sites. He was Facility Supervisor of a RCRA-Part B hazardous waste storage facility and held positions of Environmental Compliance Engineer and General Manager of a medical waste treatment facility that operated incineration and autoclave treatment devices.
