Scott Shillaber is a co-founder of SHA and has over 20 years experience in the areas of solid waste, geotechnical and civil engineering. His solid waste experience includes evaluation and design of waste containment facility liner and leachate collection systems including liner system stability, and engineering applications and design involving geosynthetics. Scott has prepared landfill operating plans addressing major operating issues including leachate management, stormwater management, waste placement and landfill phasing, facility inspections and monitoring. In addition, he has directed geotechnical engineering studies for commercial, industrial and municipal projects to gather data regarding site conditions and develop recommendations for design and construction of foundations, retaining walls, subsurface drainage systems and slopes. Scott routinely manages earthwork construction quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) efforts on behalf of clients.
