Duncan Wood is a water resources engineer with over 30 years experience in civil engineering design, site development permitting, groundwater resource studies, and hazardous waste investigations and remediation. During the past twenty years his focus has been site-specific impacts associated with development projects, and hazardous waste investigations and remediation. He is a registered Professional Engineer in five states, a L.S.P. in Massachusetts, and a Licensed Environmental Professional (L.E.P.) in Connecticut. He has initiated several innovative designs that have allowed difficult sites to be developed while under the scrutiny of tough local and state reviews. The innovative approaches have included solutions to wastewater, hazardous waste, wetland replication, and stormwater concerns. He has provided consulting services to both project proponents and local agencies reviewing project plans. He also has served on his hometown's Planning Board, Wastewater Management Committee, Zoning Board of Appeals, and School Building Committee.
