An environmental engineer for over 15 years in consulting practice, Dave specializes in the formulation, evaluation, design, and implementation of remediation alternatives and strategies for contaminated soil, soil vapor, and groundwater. He has performed projects under CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, State, Brownfields, and international programs for cleanup of hazardous waste sites involving chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, PCBs, metals, and other contaminants. Building on a solid foundation in engineering and hydrogeology, Dave is experienced in the evaluation and design of a diversity of in-situ and ex-situ remedial technologies, including enhanced attenuation, chemical oxidation, thermal technologies, permeable reactive barriers, separate-phase recovery systems, and pump-and-treat systems. Drawing from his considerable experience in remediation design, implementation, and operation, he has also provided second-opinion/peer review of existing remedial systems and strategies with the goal of improving performance and cost effectiveness.
