Mat DiPilato has diversified experience over 25 years performing hazardous waste investigations, remedial construction and geotechnical engineering. He has completed over 1,000 projects during this time, including numerous hydrogeologic studies and remedial investigations to quantify contamination; developed and implemented numerous remedial solutions including on-site containment using slurry walls, encapsulation and hydrodynamic isolation; extraction and treatment of contaminated groundwater; and off-site removal; developed engineering designs for expansions, closures and remediation of landfills; and developed geotechnical engineering and foundation solutions including slurry wall containment systems, shallow and deep foundations for high-rise structures, tunnels and dams. These projects have been completed for industrial, commercial, development, state and Federal agency clients. All engendered significant involvement with state and/or federal regulatory agencies. Mat has served as a commissioner for the regional landfill district of New Hampshire, where he resides, during which time he oversaw the permitting, design and construction of new landfill expansions and closures.
