Dick began working with Sanborn Head in 2007 as the firm embarked on its first strategic planning process. He joined the Board in 2011, and, over the course of his engagement, Dick has had a significant influence on the company’s human resources strategy and overall business strategy. As a board member, Dick has particular skill at maintaining focus on the big picture, while offering candid and very practical counsel. He is effective at helping the firm navigate the balance between the well-being of our people and the health of the firm.
Dick is personally very committed to helping Sanborn Head realize its goals as a thriving firm that will endure over time. He values the high levels of integrity and trust that define Sanborn Head’s culture, and he is inspired to work with a team that has a strong and unrelenting drive to constantly improve.
Dick has frequently presented on a variety of topics including emerging pressure points and people trends at the Geoprofessional Business Association’s 2015 Fall Conference.
In his free time, Dick enjoys the outdoors and travel with family and friends. He also likes to donate time assisting unemployed individuals with their job search activities.
