Jim Chabot, PE

Jim has returned to Sanborn Head with over 30 years of experience on a broad range of engineering and construction projects.

Jim’s technical experience spans geotechnical field engineering, deep and shallow foundation design, soil vapor investigations, remediation system design and operation, and underwater construction services. On solid waste projects, Jim’s expertise covers the range of landfill design, permitting, and construction and includes liner systems, leachate and groundwater management, landfill gas management, and capping systems.

Jim is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering. He is an active member of ASCE and SWANA.

At Sanborn Head, Jim is excited to support the firm’s expansion into the Rocky Mountain West. He values the company’s commitment to technical expertise and high-quality work product, and he especially likes Sanborn Head’s professional and friendly culture.

Jim lives in Arizona and enjoys exploring the back country and history of the Southwest by Jeep and landscape and nature photography.
