Matt is skilled at vapor intrusion assessment and mitigation, site-specific risk assessments, and the implementation of remedial actions. He is extensively knowledgeable about environmental regulations and standards of professional practice, including the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP), groundwater discharge permitting, and supporting policy.

Matt studied civil engineering at Pennsylvania State University and the University of New Hampshire, where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees, respectively.

Matt’s favorite part of coming to work each day is helping clients transform impacted and underutilized properties into new, beneficial end-use sites. Matt finds this type of work extremely gratifying, not only for the benefit of the client but the larger community as a whole.

Within the professional community, Matt serves as an active member of the NAIOP Massachusetts Brownfields Redevelopment Committee and frequently presents on environmental regulatory topics to professional organizations.

In his free time, Matt’s interests revolve around his family and all activities involving both salt and fresh water. In particular, his lifelong passion for fly tying and fly fishing have taken him to many beautiful parts of the country and allowed him to foster great friendships along the way.
