Dave has a broad range and depth of experience in environmental assessment and remediation measures for groundwater, soil, and soil vapor contaminants, as well as industrial waste treatment design. Dave is a graduate of Princeton University and holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Dave’s favorite aspect of Sanborn Head is that he gets to help clients achieve their goals by listening, understanding their concerns, and working with them in a collaborative, team-oriented manner. An extra bonus of his job is leveraging the power of sound science and engineering to address difficult technical challenges in creative, innovative ways.
Dave regularly speaks, instructs, and publishes work at various environmental conferences and workshops, with organizations such as the Association for Environmental Health and Sciences Foundation (AEHS), the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA), and the USEPA.
Dave’s interest in environmental engineering was sparked by a love for the environment and a strong desire to protect natural resources and clean up contaminated land, air, and water. When he’s out of the office, Dave participates in year-round outdoor activities such as surfing, swimming, running, hiking, and snowboarding with family and friends.
