Dori Ross, PE

Dori works closely with firm leadership and our project teams from across the firm to ensure we deliver the highest levels of service to our clients.

Dori draws on her background as an accomplished geotechnical engineer and proven business leader to guide our teams’ performance and help us achieve our corporate objectives. She focuses on improving operations, creating annual business plans and longer-term strategic plans, and developing our technical staff. Dori is a member of Sanborn Head’s Executive Committee where she acts as the primary liaison between Sanborn Head’s client service areas, our executive team, and functional leaders across the firm. Dori has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Connecticut and is the on the board of directors of ACEC-MA where she is serving as Secretary. She also co-chaired the ACEC-MA’s Transportation Agencies Liaison Committee (TALC) for many years.

When not at work, Dori enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and being active outside. In the warmer months you can find Dori in the garden, in the pool, or out in the woods taking a hike, and in the fall, she enjoys following the UVM Women’s Soccer team for whom her daughter plays.
