Before Sanborn Head, James had previous experience with the oversight of geotechnical design and construction services. His prior responsibilities included strategic planning, project management, quality control, business development, and supervision. With expertise in addressing challenging subsurface conditions such as sinkhole-prone areas and urban fill sites, his project portfolio includes complex foundation systems, ground improvement techniques, and construction oversight for new healthcare facilities, commercial developments, and industrial sites. James holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in civil engineering from Lafayette College and Villanova University, respectively, and is currently pursuing an MBA at DeSales University.

James is a Professional Engineer in Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.
