Rico’s work experience has included the design and construction of geotechnical foundation and environmental remediation for new projects in urban and suburban settings in and around Boston. Rico applies his project management skills to bring together geotechnical engineering analyses, design recommendations, drawings, and specifications to help development projects move forward. His geotechnical experience includes shallow and deep foundations, ground improvement methods, subsurface explorations, retaining wall systems, slope stability, in-situ testing, and construction observations/quality control. Rico earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
Rico enjoys the opportunity to work with great clients on a variety of, large and small projects. He finds great satisfaction in being a part of the project team that helps clients identify and optimize foundation design options for their projects.
Outside of work, Rico loves exploring the world through travel, photography, and great food. Locally, he enjoys playing soccer and working on his 1865 Colonial home.
