Marcel Kozlowski, PE

Marcel brings over eight years of experience in solid waste and environmental engineering to Sanborn Head.

Before joining the firm, Marcel worked for the largest solid waste facility in Colorado where he was an environmental engineer responsible for construction projects and environmental compliance. He has experience with liner construction, capping projects, landfill gas collection and control systems, utility improvements, quality assurance testing, and drainage improvements. Marcel is also well-versed on state and federal regulations relating to landfill compliance. Marcel studied at the University of New Hampshire and the University of Colorado, where he earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in environmental engineering.

Marcel’s favorite part about his job is working on challenging civil and environmental problems; he especially likes seeing his projects go from design through construction. Marcel takes pride in helping support the growing needs of our society, while ensuring balance with the natural environment. Every day at Sanborn Head brings him unique challenges and learning opportunities.

Outside of work, Marcel likes working on home improvement projects, reading, and cooking. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, and skiing.

Marcel is a Professional Engineer in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Louisiana, New Hampshire, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
