The firm announces the following mid-year senior promotions:
Sean Murphy, PG has been promoted to Vice President. Sean joined Sanborn Head in 2018 as a Senior Project Geologist in the Industrial Client Service Area and has since become a trusted leader on some of the firm’s most complex site characterization and remediation projects. Clients value Sean’s sound judgment across technical, business, and legal considerations, as well as his collaborative approach to project leadership. He is known for building and developing strong project teams, creating meaningful opportunities for staff while strengthening project delivery. Sean’s servant leadership style supports professional growth and contributes to the firm’s culture. He also serves on Sanborn Head’s Board of Directors and chairs the firm’s Ownership Transition Committee.
Sam Warner has been promoted to Director of Data Management & Visualization (DM&V). Sam joined Sanborn Head in 2007 and has built deep expertise in data management, high-resolution characterization, and data visualization over the past 19 years. In this new role, he will lead the firm’s DM&V group, drawing on his exceptional technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership across a wide range of initiatives. Sam is known for pairing deep technical knowledge with a broader perspective, helping teams address immediate project needs while identifying long-term opportunities. His technical creativity and ability to connect people across teams have helped shape the future of DM&V and continue to strengthen relationships with colleagues and clients.
