Sanborn Head is pleased to announce two mid-year senior leadership promotions.

Senior Promotions:
- Jennifer Sanborn, P.E. has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Talent. Jenn is passionate about professional development and seeing those around her succeed. Throughout her career she has demonstrated a keen ability to challenge the status quo, dig into details, and deliver thoughtful, effective solutions for her teams and the firm. After over 20 years of being part of and leading technical project teams, Jenn has taken on the role of senior vice president of talent, focusing on attracting, developing, and retaining Sanborn Head’s employees. Jenn oversees the firm’s recruiting efforts, learning & development, Sanborn Head’s EDGE supervisory/mentorship program, employee engagement, and culture initiatives. She is a current member of Sanborn Head’s Executive Committee and is active in industry organizations including the Geoprofessional Business Association (GBA).
- Shawn Kelley, Ph.D., P.E. has been promoted to Vice President. Since joining Sanborn Head in 2018, Shawn has made a lasting impact on Sanborn Head’s geotechnical engineering team and our Vermont practice through his leadership and dedication to helping others grow. Shawn’s deep expertise, passion for geotechnical engineering, and mentoring mindset have made him an invaluable asset to our project teams throughout the Northeast. As vice president, he will focus on project success, sustaining client relationships, and building strategic networks while continuing to foster a culture of learning and development. Shawn actively serves in several professional organizations, including the Vermont Society of Engineers as Second Vice President and the ACEC Vermont Legislative Committee as Chairperson.
